The short version
Pebzli stores the habits you create and when you complete them. That's the whole point. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and we don't build psychographic profiles. If you delete your account, we delete your habits.
What we collect
Your habits and completions. Habit names, icons, colors, schedules, reminder windows, and the dates you marked each habit complete or skipped. You give us this data on purpose — it's the product.
An account identifier. When you first open the app we create an anonymous account tied to your device. If you later sign in with email, Apple, or Google to back up your habits, we store the email address associated with that account.
Device and app context. When something crashes or behaves unexpectedly, our error monitor (Sentry) records the device model, OS version, app version, and a stack trace. These are used to fix bugs and are not tied to your identity outside of the anonymous id above.
Usage analytics. We use PostHog to record a small set of product events — like "onboarding completed" or "habit created" — so we can understand which flows work and which don't. We do not record the contents of your habits, the text of your reminders, or any free-form text you type.
Purchases. If you subscribe to Pebzli Plus, the App Store or Play Store tells us that your account has an active subscription. We never see your card number.
What we don't collect
We don't collect contacts, photos, location, microphone audio, health data, or anything else the app doesn't need. We don't track you across other apps or websites. We don't have advertising identifiers.
Where your data lives
Habits and completions are stored on Supabase, hosted on servers in the United States. Preferences like theme and notification settings live only on your device. Your device schedules notifications itself — we never send them from our servers, which means we don't know when you receive or dismiss them.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the vendors we need to run the product: Supabase (hosting and auth), Sentry (crash reports), PostHog (analytics), and Apple or Google for subscriptions and OAuth sign-in. Each of them is bound by data-processing terms. We don't sell your data to anyone. We don't share it with advertisers.
We'll disclose data if a law compels us to (for example, a valid court order) or if we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to prevent harm.
Your choices
See it. Your entire data set is visible inside the app. Settings → Data → Export produces a CSV of every habit and completion we hold for you.
Change it. Edit or archive any habit from the Habits tab. Turn notifications off in Settings → Notifications.
Delete it. Settings → Data → Delete everything removes every habit and completion tied to your account and signs you out. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Children
Pebzli is not directed at children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Retention
We keep your habits and completions for as long as your account exists. Crash reports are kept for 90 days. Aggregated usage metrics that can't be tied back to you may be kept longer to understand long-term trends.
Changes
If we make meaningful changes to this policy we'll update the date at the top and, if the change is significant, surface a notice in the app before it takes effect.
