Delete your Pebzli account or data
You can delete your entire Pebzli account, or remove specific habits and completions without deleting your account. Pick the path that matches what you want.
Delete specific data (without deleting your account)
Delete one habit and its completions: Open the habit from the Today or Habits tab, tap the ••• menu (top right), then Delete habit. The habit and every completion logged against it are removed permanently. Your account and other habits are unaffected.
Archive a habit (hide without deleting): Same menu, tap Archive. The habit and its history are kept in case you want to bring it back later, but it disappears from your active views. Unarchive any time from Settings → Archived habits.
Remove a single completion: Tap an already-completed habit on the Today screen to toggle it off. The completion record is deleted.
Export your data first (optional): Settings → Data → Export data produces a CSV with every habit and completion you hold. Useful if you want a copy before deleting.
Delete your entire account from inside the app
1. Open Pebzli on your phone.
2. Go to Settings (the gear icon in the bottom tab bar).
3. Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm. Your account and every habit, completion, tag, and reminder tied to it are removed immediately.
Request deletion by email
If you've uninstalled the app or no longer have access to your device, email us at support@pebzli.com from the address you signed up with. Include the subject line Delete my Pebzli account.
We'll confirm receipt within two business days and complete the deletion within seven days. If you signed up anonymously and never linked an email, we won't be able to identify your account from an email request — in that case the data is only on the device that created it, and removing the app removes it.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:
• Your account record (anonymous user ID and, if you signed up, your email address).
• Every habit you created — name, icon, color, schedule, tags, reminder windows, notes.
• Every completion and skip you logged.
• Any user-saved templates.
• Your notification preferences and theme settings (these live on the device and are removed when you delete the app).
What is kept, and for how long
Crash reports (Sentry): anonymized device + OS + stack trace data is retained for up to 90 days for debugging, then automatically purged. These reports are not tied to your account once it's deleted.
Aggregated usage metrics (PostHog): anonymous, non-identifying counts (e.g., "habit_created") may be retained indefinitely as part of aggregate analytics. Once your account is deleted there is no way to associate these events with you.
Subscription records: if you had a Pebzli Plus subscription, the App Store or Play Store retains the purchase record on their side per their policies. We retain a redacted entitlement record (no card data, no personal info) for tax and accounting compliance for the period required by law.
Email exchanges: any prior support emails between us and you remain in our support inbox for reference. Email us separately if you'd like those removed.
Cancelling a subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — those are managed by the App Store or Play Store directly. To cancel:
• iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Pebzli → Cancel.
• Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Pebzli → Cancel.
We recommend cancelling first, then deleting your account.
